Jamie Lee Dance Academy Private Lessons Terms and Conditions

** By enrolling your child in Private Lessons at JLDA you agree to the following Terms and Conditions **

1      General

1.1            All Private Lesson students are enrolled as members of Jamie Lee Dance Academy, and therefore you have already completed your enrolment form and are bound by the Terms and Conditions of Jamie Lee Dance Academy.

1.2            The following are additional Terms and Conditions, specific to Private Lessons.  Inclusive of Private Dance Lessons or Private Singing lessons with Adam.

2      Uniform and Grooming

2.1            We pride ourselves on our grooming – it is a part of a performer’s discipline.

2.2            Although there is no set uniform for private lessons, please ensure you are appropriately dressed and groomed for the discipline of your private lesson, including the correct footwear.

3      Fees and Payments

3.1            Private Lesson fees are due no later than the beginning of the private lesson.  This is due in cash or bank transfer directly to the teacher in question.

3.2            Without payment being received at that time, the teacher is within their right to cancel the lesson and still charge for their time

4      Private Lesson Timetable and Cancellations

4.1            Once Private Lesson schedules are confirmed for the term – that remains your child’s lesson slot.

4.2            If a lesson cannot be attended, JLDA requires 48 working hours’ notice.  Cancellations that happen within this time frame will still be charged, and need to be paid within 7 days.

4.3            If a lesson is missed by the student; due to the volume of students and much like a dance class, these cannot be re-arranged to suit you.

4.4            If your child cannot attend a lesson, the only option is to ask for any ‘AVAILABLE’’ slots on the relevant teacher’s timetable.

4.5            If a teacher has to cancel a lesson due to illness, we will, in the first instance, endeavour to offer a cover/replacement teacher before offering a rescheduled appointment.

4.6            If you are to miss a lesson, you are welcome to post in the relevant social media group online, if you are a part of it, but you must also email the office at: info@jamieleedanceacademy.com to ensure that the school has official notification.
